Grar! there were a few people that sent us wedding gifts after the fact. We got all of the real wedding thank you notes done. But, afterwards, we got a few other gifts and haven't written thank you notes for them. We really need to do that, but we've been sooooo busy!
Erin is soooo great! I like her immensely. I have absolutely no complaints about being with Erin.
School is kind of a drag. I want to graduate. I want to be done and go out into the real world and get a real job. Wouldn't that be so nice. :) I'm itching for some real money to be coming into my pockets instead of this fake stuff that I get through doing research. I get paid maybe 10-11 bucks an hour doing research, which is nice. I basically get paid to do my thesis work. I can't really complain about that. But, I would be getting much more money if I were out of school doing a real job.
Awhile ago, I applied for an NSF grant. That took quite a bit of work to polish those essays. I really liked my personal statement essay. I made my project about saving the environment and saving businesses money at a near zero cost to them. I can't believe I applied because if I get it, it would mean a phd for me. The way I complain about school, that's crazy that I am applying for grants to do a phd. Heh. Oh well. If I get it, it would be crazy not to do a phd.
